Portage County Pride Fund Student Emergency Assistance Request

The Portage County Pride Fund Student Emergency Assistance fund was created to assist with short-term financial aid for immediate needs related to food, housing, medical care, or transportation. To be eligible, applicants must be currently enrolled at Kent State University, Hiram College, or NEOMED as well as permanent Portage County residents who are current enrolled as a commuter student at a local post-secondary institution.

Please complete this form to begin the request process. Once the form has been submitted, you will receive a call or text regarding your request and set a time for an interview with a member of the LGBTQ+ Advisory Board.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Pride Fund Emergency Grant, individuals must live in Portage County OR attend an institution of higher education in Portage County. Online institutions can be considered outside of Portage County.
