Created by the Community Action Council of Portage County and the Battaglia family, this scholarship honors Phyllis Battaglia, a beloved local businesswoman remembered for her creativity, compassion, and dedication to her family and community.
The scholarship supports graduating high school seniors who reside in Portage County and plan to pursue a degree or credential at an accredited college, university, technical school, or trade school. Preference is given to first-generation students and students from low-income households, helping make educational opportunities more accessible.
