Portage County Pride Fund Student Emergency Assistance Request

The Portage County Pride Fund Emergency Assistance fund was created to assist LGBTQ+ students with short-term financial aid for immediate needs related to food, housing, medical care, or transportation.

To be eligible for the Pride Fund Emergency Grant, students must be:

  • currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution/trade school in Portage County OR
  • currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution/trade school outside of Portage County and be a resident of Portage

Note: Online institutions can be considered outside of Portage County for residents. We require a copy of your academic schedule for the current academic semester (Fall, Spring, Summer) that shows your name. Applications for assistance will be reviewed during normal business hours (M-F).

Please complete this form to begin the request process. Once the form has been submitted, you will receive an email regarding your request and set a time for an interview with a member of the Portage County Pride Fund Advisory Board.

The board reviews these applications based on business hours (M-F) only. Should you be in immediate crisis, PLEASE CALL 988 for help.
