Supporting veterinary education and the welfare of animals in our community
The Casper Wenninger Feline Welfare Fund provides scholarships to Portage County-connected students pursuing careers in veterinary medicine or veterinary technology. Scholarship awards help support students working toward a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or Certified Veterinary Technician credential.
The fund also provides significant annual support to animal welfare organizations through the Portage Foundation’s Community Grants process, helping organizations make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals throughout our community.
