The Portage Animal Protective League (APL) Endowed Fund supports the private, non-profit APL organization, dedicated to the advancement of animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.
The Portage Animal Protective League (APL) Endowed Fund supports the private, non-profit APL organization, dedicated to the advancement of animal welfare and responsible pet ownership. The purpose of the endowed fund is to provide direct support of the Portage APL mission and programs, mainly: shelter and find safe homes for injured, abused, surrendered, and abandoned animals, uphold and enforce all animal cruelty laws, reduce pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs, and educate the community on the social responsibility associated with pet ownership.
The Portage APL Endowed Fund is managed by the Portage Foundation with distributions of available funds done in coordination with the Portage APL and the foundation Board of Trustees.
The Portage Animal Protective League Endowed Fund was established in 2013 and welcomes additional, tax-deductible donations from the community. Donations can be made by checks to the Portage Foundation, PO Box 623, Kent, Ohio, 44240 or online
