Inspired by Sister Jordan Haddad’s compassionate service, this fund supports the work of Kent Social Services, a program of Axess Family Services. In the late 1990s, Sister Jordan established a hot meal program that grew from donated spaces into a lasting community resource.
Today, Kent Social Services continues her legacy by providing free hot meals, food pantry assistance, seasonal support for families, and a welcoming place where community members can connect with one another. The fund helps sustain this vital work and care for neighbors facing food insecurity and other challenges.
