Will be enrolled in a two-year or four-year degree program at an accredited college, university, technical or trade school. Bernie J. Kosar Crestwood Endowed Scholarship – Crestwood High School senior student. – Will be enrolled in a two-year or four-year degree program at an accredited college, university, technical or trade school Bill and Eddye White Bowling Endowed Scholarship – High School Senior student– Member of the Varsity Bowling team at: Rootstown, Crestwood, Garfield, Ravenna, Southeast, Streetsboro, or Theodore Roosevelt high schools – Will be enrolled in a two-year or four-year degree program at an accredited college, university, technical or trade school. Boyd and Joan Wallbrown Agricultural Innovation Endowed Scholarship – High school Seniors from Ohio or Leeds, ND, or already in college. – Will be enrolled in a two year technical school or a four year undergraduate college program in the study of production agriculture or farm management. – Current recipients can reapply for the scholarship the following year. Casper Wenninger Scholarship for Veterinary Studies – Portage County High school seniors, Portage County residents, or those working in the Animal Care industry in Portage County – Currently or will be enrolled in a Veterinary Technology program at a two year technical school/ four year undergraduate college, or pursuing a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. – Current recipients can reapply for the scholarship the following year. Darla Winnefeld Memorial Endowed Scholarship – Rootstown High School senior student. – Will be enrolled in a two-year or four-year degree program at an accredited college, university, technical or trade school. Dr. Connie Stopper Nursing Legacy Scholarship – Prelicensure, or registered nurse students – Currently enrolled in the baccalaureate or graduate nursing programs at Hiram College, Kent State University – Kent Campus, or The University of Akron – Main Campus Douglas Cowell Memorial Endowed Scholarship – Ravenna High School senior student – Active member of the Ravenna Football team. – Will be enrolled in a two-year or four-year degree program at an accredited college, university, technical or trade school. Frances A. Patterson Memorial Endowed Scholarship – Portage County High School Senior student – Active in an Ohio 4-H Horse Program – Will be enrolled in a two-year or four-year degree program at an accredited college, university, technical or trade school. George L. and Genevieve D. Moore Endowed Scholarship – Aurora High School senior students – Must certify that they are a non-smoker and that income from work exceeds scholarship amount – Will be enrolled in a two-year or four-year degree program at an accredited college or university J.D. Langguth Memorial Scholarship – Rootstown High School senior student with preference given to wrestlers and students entering a union trade. League of Women Voters – Helen Dix Endowed Scholarship – Non-traditional female student – age 25+ – US citizen – Currently enrolled at Hiram College or Kent State University with at least junior class standing or seeking a second bachelor-level degree to better prepare for a career. – Eligible for renewal Mark Klima Memorial Endowed Scholarship – Rootstown High School senior student. – Will be enrolled in a two-year or four-year degree program at an accredited college, university, technical or trade school. Phyllis Battaglia/CAC Memorial Scholarship – Portage County High School Senior – Will be enrolled in a two-year or four-year degree program at an accredited college, university, technical or trade school. Roger J DiPaolo Bright Futures Scholarship – Ravenna High School senior – Live in the Skeels or McElrath neighborhoods of Ravenna or is actively involved in the Skeels-Matthews or King-Kennedy Community Centers. – Will be enrolled in a two-year or four-year degree program at an accredited college, university, technical or trade school. Roger J DiPaolo Wick Poetry Scholarship – Kent State University student in any year of study who has an interest in writing poetry and is recommended by the Wick Center. Summit and Portage County Nursing Scholarship – Pre-licensure nursing student, licensed practical nurse or registered nurse – Living or employed in Portage or Summit counties – Pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing at Hiram College, Kent State University or The University of Akron.
